Simple Explanation:

To finish up my Arduino Nagios (Hardware Server Monitoring) project, I decided to house the final product in an old lava lamp. First, I had to gut the lamp parts out of the housing. Second, I warmed up the lamp, popped the top off and poured out all the contents of the lamp (wax included). Finally, I soldered some wires to the 3 LED’s and ran the wires through the lava lamp.
